How does 2Love LLC serve the Community?
When the pandemic hit March 2020, with the help of volunteers to assist, 2LOVE LLC has made weekly deliveries of food, household items, and cleaning supplies to children and elderly in Gilpin Court and the Jackson Ward Community. While others call this mutual aid, Ms. Keisha gloats this effort as “Instacart for the hood,” as she asked, if they can get food delivered directly to their door in Windsor Farms, why can’t it be the same on St. Paul street?” At the end of its 75th week (August 27, 2021) deliveries will move to bi-weekly as we are expanding. 2LOVE LLC is most proud to announce that they have empowered residents of three under resourced communities, Gilpin Court (4/2021), Ruffin Rd (Southside) (6/2021), and Mosby Court (beginning 9/2021), to facilitate mutual aid within their own community.
